Alba Ortega

Cafe Supervisor/Hospitality Instructor

Alba Ortega, a native of Hartford, CT, is the Cafe Supervisor at Fire by Forge. With several years of experience in the foodservice industry, Alba has served as a hostess at Firebox from 2018-2020, a server at Friendly's from 2011-2020 and a sandwich station operator at The Kitchen Cafe 2020, where she was quickly promoted to supervisor.

Alba holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Central Connecticut State University, with a minor in Sociology, and graduated in 2017. Her passion for training and developing employees is evident by her commitment to work with new trainees and nurture their growth. In her free time, Alba enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
