Below please find your options for events/catering within the restaurant. Please keep in mind that these items are different than our Catering Department menus, which are for off-site events and events at The Lyceum. These items are only for events within the restaurant. All prices are + 19% service charge & applicable taxes.

Passed & Stations Appetizer Package
Select three appetizer items for $20 pp or five for $26 pp. Service includes 90 minute reception; Additional charge for $10 and $13 per each additional hour of service. When restaurant is open (regular hours), staffing costs are included. When restaurant is not open regular hours and/or for full buyouts, staffing costs: $30 per hour per server/bartender min 4 hours | $50 per hour per chef/supervisor min 4 hours.

Deluxe Reception Package
In addition to all that is included in the Passed & Stations Appetizer Package, we add a bounty table of artisan cheeses, crackers, fruit, cured meats, dips, and garnishes. Select three appetizer items for $30 pp or five for $36 pp. Service includes 90 minute reception; Additional charge for $15 and $18 per each additional hour of service. Cash Bar and Consumpton Bar is also available for events. No staffing or set-up charge during regular hours. If event is during non-operating hours, bar set up fee is $150 and staffing is $30/bartender per hour (min 4 hours).
All prices are plus 19% equity & compensation service charge and CT sales tax. Additional tipping is never expected, always appreciated. Food and Beverage Minimums will apply to semi-private and private events, full room or restaurant buyouts, and special events scheduled for non-operating hours.

To ensure the best experience possible for you and your party, as well as other guests in the restaurant, please be aware of the following:
- For parties of 8 or more, please call for reservations or email info@firebyforge.com
- At Breakfast, large groups can either order from the menu or choose one of our "Backroom Breakfast Packages". This is a perfect option for business meetings and larger Gatherings.
- At Lunch or Dinner, all parties of 15 or more will need to order from one of our Prix Fixe Menus.
- At Brunch, all parties of 15 or more will need to order our Family-Style Brunch offering.
- For parties of 25 or more for any meal period, you have the option of a semi-private buy-out at the restaurant, a fully private buy-out at the restaurant, or a fully private event at The Lyceum, handled by our catering team. There are different food and beverage purchase minimums for semi-private and private events at the restaurant, determined by the day of week and meal period.
- We offer several large group happy hour options at the restaurant. Please ask us for details.
- All large parties require a non-refundable deposit when making your reservation.
- We are unable to split checks or provide individual checks for more than 4 people in your group.
In addition to the restaurant, we offer full-service catering at The Lyceum, and venue of your choice, or your home or office. Please let us know how we can help plan your next great event!

To promote fair compensation, we apply a 19% "Benefits & Compensation Service Charge" to every guest check. This charge is divided into a 5% direct revenue share with our staff, and a 13% contribution to boost base wages and provide benefits. The charge is entirely dedicated to employee compensation and benefits, allowing us to maintain a sustainable business model while providing above-standard compensation. This system also helps balance wages between customer-facing and kitchen staff.
We call this charge "Benefits and Equity" as it directly supports our employees. The charge contributes to a base hourly wage that exceeds minimum wage, a 5% daily revenue share among hourly team members, paid time off, medical benefits, a retirement plan, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, financial management tools, and access to an employee assistance program. Additionally, 1% of the charge is set aside for an "Employee Assistance Fund" to help employees facing unexpected financial emergencies.
Traditionally, restaurants in the United States have relied on customer tipping to supplement the wages of customer-facing service staff. However, this system can perpetuate gender and racial bias. The revenue from our "B&E" charge allows us to maintain market prices while creating a more equitable compensation model.
While we believe tipping is not the best model for our business, we recognize that many in the industry consider it important. We have retained the tip line for customers who wish to voluntarily add a gratuity to recognize exceptional service.
